          Biography

          Rosy Armen was born to Kourchoud Hovhannessian from Dzhagry, Nakhitchevan and to Nvart Alozian from an Armenian suburb of Van.[1] The Armenian couple had met each other after having immigrated to France in the 1920s.[2] Rosy Hohannessian was born in Paris, France, on 1 May 1939.
