Heinz Emigholz's early experimental films, heavily influenced by American structural cinema, laid the groundwork for a career that would later earn him recognition as a 'master of architectural cinema' through his distinctive cinematic explorations of architecture and architects.
Following extensive discussions and close collaboration with the artist, the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival presents a comprehensive retrospective featuring 15 films, including two new works, alongside an exhibition showcasing hundreds of drawings.
